Is your practice in person or virtual?
My practice is fully virtual from the state of New York and Florida using a secure HIPAA platform.
Do you accept insurance?
Holding Space Mental Health Counseling is not in network with any health insurances. I do provide out of network behavioral health services if your insurance company covers out of network benefits.
I can provide you with a superbill at the end of each month to submit to your insurance company for reinbursement.
Scheduling and Canceling appointments
To schedule an initial appointment or consultation call you can complete the contact form or email me at info@holdingspacemhc.com
I am understanding that things come up last minute and there is a need to cancel scheduled sessions. If you are unable to attend your appointment, I require a 24 hour notice. If appointments are not cancelled within the 24 hour window you will be charged in full for the late cancellation or no show for appointment.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Yes, I do offer limited sliding scale slots in my practice for those who can no afford my full fees. If you are interested in my services, but unable to afford my fees please reach out to see if any sliding scale spots are available.
How often will we meet for therapy sessions?
Frequency of sessions is determined through each individuals persons therapeutic needs, this will be discussed in the initial intake session. I typically meet with clients once a week and all individual therapy sessions are 45 minutes.
